From Mimi Xu?
Rising Welsh star, Mimi Xu, was our champion last year capping a memorable week by achieving career best results by winning both the singles and doubles titles. Will Mimi be able to defend her title in 2026?
Mimi joins an impressive list of recent champions at this event. In 2022, Marketa Vondrousova, won the event and went on to become Wimbledon Ladies Singles Champion just nine months later. Our 2023 champion, Viktorija Golubic, was a Billie Jean King Cup winner and an Olympic Silver medallist, whilst Sonay Kartal picked up the trophy in front of a sell-out crowd in 2024 as she beat Heather Watson in an all-British final.

Hosted by Rose Courteen, the podcast is available on all podcast platforms and new episodes are published monthly throughout the year. From July, there is a new episode every Friday morning to help with the build up to the event and you can enjoy daily updates throughout the tournament week.

With big screen videos and music as part of the indoor stadium experience you are guaranteed a great atmosphere. This festival style tennis event is co-organised by the LTA, Tennis Wales, and promoted by Mosaic Group.
New for 2026 is our street food zone offering a variety of spectator food options, all under cover as part of the festival atmosphere. There is also a unique one-point knockout tournament, One Point Grand, featuring some of the tournament players against local amateurs with the winner picking up £1,000!

Come play tennis and padel at the largest centre in Wales. No membership required. We have 12 indoor and outdoor tennis courts in the centre with additional mini courts for younger players.
We're also excited to announce 3 brand new padel courts are open for bookings - the first in North Wales. We offer group sessions for all ages and abilities, adult social sessions, children's holiday camps and more. You can also access our coaching team for one-to-one sessions.
Wrexham Tennis is proud to offer a world-class standard for a tennis centre, as we regularly host national and international tennis competitions. We are run by Wrexham Tennis Centre Limited, a charitable company limited by guarantee. Come play tennis all year round on our indoor courts for as little as £13 an hour.
