Limerick Leader wins first Wrexham Open Handicap Chase at Bangor-on-Dee

Welsh jockey James Bowen led Limerick Leader to victory in the first Lexus Wrexham Open Handicap Chase at Bangor-on-Dee. A number of the team from Wrexham Tennis & Padel Centre, our host venue, enjoyed a day at the races and were delighted to be involved in last Friday's presentation ceremony.

It's all part of a new partnership between the Lexus Wrexham Open and the popular North Wales racecourse to support each other's activities. We had a race named after the tournament at last Friday's North Wales Business Day fixture, while Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse, set in glorious countryside, has signed up to be one of the sponsors of a new street food zone and Tie Break Café, which will be introduced for the first time at next month's Lexus Wrexham Open.
