Maxing Out - How to Make the Most of Your Talent

Our Business Networking Lunch is designed for all those in business who want to meet like-minded business people and enjoy great food, great company and hear from some inspirational speakers.

It's an event not to be missed.

For 2026 our theme for our after lunch discussion is "Maxing Out - How to Make the Most of Your Talent". Radio 5 Live's tennis commentator, Abigail Johnson, will host a fascinating discussion with our sporting guests, Johanna Konta and Vicky Holland.

Johanna Konta is a former World number 4 and one of Britain's most successful tennis players. She was a semi-finalist in three of the four Grand Slam events and won four titles on the WTA Tour.

Enjoying a meteoric rise up the rankings in 2015/2016, Johanna has long been admired as someone who worked incredibly hard to reach the very top of her sport.

Vicky Holland is the first female triathlete to win an Olympic Gold medal for Great Britain when she secured a bronze medal in Rio. In doing so, she held off the challenge of housemate and fellow world champion, Non Stanford, to snatch the last spot on the podium.

Vicky didn't take up competing in the triathlon until the second year of University and just seven years later she became World Champion.

She has also been a passionate advocate for the support of elite athletes who return to the sport after starting a family. Vicky returned to win the European championship in 2024 at the age of 38 just a year after she gave birth to her daughter.
